Stripe Connect

Stripe Connect enables payments in 53 Degrees OS. Connect your Stripe account on the Summit plan to start taking payments, with a 1% platform fee in addition to Stripe’s processing fees. After linking, ensure Charges and Payouts are enabled; use Sync status or Update Stripe account to complete setup if needed.

What is Stripe Connect?

Stripe Connect links your 53 Degrees OS account to Stripe so you can securely accept online payments.

Required to take payments in 53 Degrees OS.
53 Degrees OS platform fee: 1% on top of Stripe’s processing fees.
Payouts are handled by Stripe according to your Stripe payout schedule.

Requirements

Summit plan is required.
Stripe account owner/admin must complete onboarding and verification.
Up-to-date business details (legal name, address, bank details, company info, identity documents).

How to connect Stripe

In 53 Degrees OS, go to /settings/integrations/stripe-connect.
Click Connect Stripe account.
You’ll be redirected to Stripe to create or link an account and complete your Stripe profile (business verification, bank account, responsible person, support details).

When finished, you’ll be returned to 53 Degrees OS.

Verify connection status

After linking, the Stripe Connect section will display your account status.

Charges and Payouts must be Enabled for payments to work.

If Charges or Payouts are not enabled

Click Sync status to refresh from Stripe.
If still not enabled, click Update Stripe account to return to Stripe and complete any remaining steps (verification docs, bank details, business info).

Return to 53 Degrees OS and click Sync status again.

Fees and billing

1% 53 Degrees OS platform fee is applied in addition to Stripe’s standard processing fees.
All card processing, refunds, disputes, and payouts are managed by Stripe.
